On June 19, 2026, Let’s Talk NWA with the NWA Center for Sexual Assault will present "A Juneteenth Celebration" at Spring Shop Studios in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This free, family-friendly event is designed to celebrate Juneteenth while fostering community, education, and access to resources within the Black community across Northwest Arkansas.

"A Juneteenth Celebration" will feature an outdoor cookout including local food vendors, artists, music, prizes, community resources, and activities for all.

Through the Let’s Talk NWA outreach project, we aim to break cycles of domestic violence and sexual assault in the Black community through education, awareness, and access to support services. A Juneteenth Celebration will address traditional barriers facing low-income residents by providing opportunities throughout the entirety of the event to connect with mental health, medical, and hospitality professionals
